THOUGHTS
It’s a new day, a new morning. I’m a new Phil today... If I will
allow it.
Deut 6:4-6 "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! 5
"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your might. 6 "These words, which I am
commanding you today, shall be on your heart.”
The Shema is the title of a prayer that serves as a centerpiece of the morning and
evening Jewish prayer services [Wikipedia,]. From the beginning, the
words of Deut 6 were seen as central to our being! It has not changed!
The ONE GOD IS OUR GOD and HE WANTS ALL OF ME!
2Cor 5:17-6:2 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18
Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself
through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely,
that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their
trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making
an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21
He
made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.
6:1
And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace
of God in vain — 2 for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I
LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is
"THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF
SALVATION" —
Lam 3:21-26 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.
22 The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions
never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have
hope in Him." 25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the
person who seeks Him. 26 It is good that he waits silently For the
salvation of the LORD.
I hope you know right now that the Lord’s compassions toward us are new this morning!
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, so
that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable
and perfect.
We are “PRACTICING
THE PRESENCE OF GOD HERE”!
My Prayer:
We thank you Oh God of newness and aliveness that we can know our creation in
Christ.
Your word speaks marvelous assurances to us, great and precious promises, and
we thank you.
From nothing Father, You call us holy and allow us to abide in you. Such
knowledge is awesome Oh God. Help us to absorb this with all our heart,
soul and mind. May Your Words be on our hearts this day. Give us a
closer walk with You.
In the name of
blessed Jesus Amen
